Backyard Fun

My brother and sister came and stayed some this summer.  It was a lot of fun.  One night we decided to cook some s'mores.  They were so good, I haven't had those in forever.  P really enjoyed it, more so of just burning the marshmellows than eating them.  It was a nice night too.  We really need to do this more often. Something fun to do in our own backyard.

 

Hubby Turns 30

 

A few weekends ago the hubby turned 30.  He finally caught up to me:)  For his party I rented a huge waterslide for adults and kids.  It was a big hit. All the ages loved it.  I decided to do something a little different and fun since most of our family and friends have kids as well.  It's always nice to get a night out on the town for your birthday but can be just as fun to have something at the house.  We also got bbq,snacks and plenty of drinks and just celebrated the hubby.  All in all it was great time had by all.  Who would have thought at 30, he would enjoy a waterslide but he did.  P of course keeps asking if we can get one again, to bad his birthday his not in the summer.  I have a lot of pictures but I can't decide which to post,so I just selected a few.

Busy

I am have so many post I want to do. Problem is I am never at the computer to upload pictures. I really need to make time and blog since I want to print this one day. I will get it done,it just might take awhile..lol
Never the less good thing I have my iPhone to snap pictures!! Life lately through phone pics. I still don't take enough with the phone..haha

Gender Reveal

We thought it would be fun to do a little gender reveal party for baby number 2.  I had so much fun planning it and pintrest didn't help.  There are so many fun ideas out there.  We had a few snacks and of course the cake which was the main attraction.  Our ultrasound tech put the results in the envelope and we immediately took them to my aunt.  She was the only one who knew and said it was killing her not to be able to tell anyone:)  Pax was so excited.  We didn't know how he would do at the ultrasound so this was a fun way for him to be involved.  It was so fun and I wish we would have done this with pax.

So I have not been good about taking these pictures.  I tried but I just forget.  I have managed to get a few so I can at least keep up with the progress.  I don't have time to upload the pictures right away so I just went with the old hand written paper..lol  Not the best but hey it's something to look back on. 

I am feeling pretty good. I get shots weekly to try and keep me off bed rest, we are praying that they will work and keep me off bed rest.  P doesn't let me rest much so no time for bed rest.  This pregnancy is so different than my last. No real cravings besides tomatoes and that has faded for the most part.  Nothing sounds good period also because it's 9000 degrees outside.  Sleep in not very good especially since we have a nightly visitor and I get 2 or 3 times a night to got to the restroom.  Oh well, I can handle all the potty breaks and wouldn't change it for anything.

Busy,Busy

We have so busy lately and I guess it's just the start of fall weekends to come. We are so busy in the fall that it's crazy..P is just growing up so fast and wanting to do so much..We had a gender reveal which I need to post pictures of trying to plan a 30th bday for the hubby and going to the doctor for a shot every week is wearing me out..lol.
I am so behind on pregnancy post but I will get to them soon.THis post is random and all over the place but at least I am posting;)

Member night at the zoo

Not to long ago the Memphis zoo had members night at the zoo. The zoo was closed to the public and only members could come. It was a lot of fun. It's not often you get to be at the zoo at night time. Besides it's not as crowded on member's night, so it was a win,win!! P and M had a blast and could have stayed all night if we would have allowed them. The best part the rides were free too, so we took advantage of that. Both the boys loved the boats:) Can't wait to go back. This is something we look forward to during the summer.
