Our Little Fish

Our little pac-man loves water. It doesn't matter where it is, he wants in it. This little boy is half fish, I believe. We need to get him into swim lessons soon. He has no fear with water and it makes me a nervous wreck. I do believe if we would let him, he would stay out in it all day long. We hope everyone had a good Memorial Day. Thank You to all who serve this country!!

Last week my cousin Ryan graduated from the 8th grade. Of course we went but as you can tell from the pictures we spent out time outside. He did good inside for the first 10 minutes and then it was a wild goose chase. ha/ha We decided that everyone didn't need to hear pax talk so we headed outside:) He of course had a blast running around out there. I think he is part bug, he is drawn to the light. So Joe and I were both at a spotlight so he wouldn't try and touch them and burn his self. As you can see below he also discovered his shadow. Oh the funny of little ones!! I wouldn't trade for anything!! We missed pictures with my cousin because a million people came outside and the chasing was on..

Shapes

Pax is learning to match shapes with the shape holes. He really gets frustrated with the star because of all the angles. But he is determined to get them all in (square,triangle,circle, and dreaded star). Look at that concentration. I guess it's time to get some shape puzzles.

Our Big Boy

I can't believe how big my baby has gotten here lately. Mother's day, I forgot his highchair but he sat in the big chair and did so good. He just sat there like he had been doing it this whole time. I just can't get over how fast time flies. I never really paid attention to that phrase until we had P. Now I know exactly what people meant. I feel like if I blink, I will miss so much. I am trying to take it all in and not forget anything. Changes come and go so frequently, I just can't grasp it. Time just please stand still for just a minute!!

I have been in a funk lately, so that's why there have not been a lot of post. I am trying to pull myself out of it.

P's new Outdoor Chair

P's Nana Peggy bought him his very own chair for the porch. It's a little blue Adirondack chair with a frog painted on it. It is so very cute. For right now the chair has been inside and he loves it. As you can see from below he also likes to stand in it. He has been told a few times to get down. I am sure it will not be the last either. We will take it outside once this rain is gone. It's almost to cute to take outside. Thanks Nana Peggy, we love it..

1st Carousel Ride

P had his first carousel ride the weekend before last. He wasn't to sure at first. After the first go round he loved and was bouncing up and down and smiling. So glad he liked it will be something we do when we go to the mall. It was a fun time for all 3 of us. It was the first time in years I have ridden on one. It was a great first for our family. The pictures are not the best quality, it was hard taking pictures while standing backwards and going round and round..ha/ha
Things have been pretty slow around here lately. We are taking full advantage too. I know here soon we will not have a free weekend.

Outside Fun!!

Our day's are spent outside 95% of the time. I don't mind right now because it's not to hot but I know it will not be long. Poor pac-man will be so sad when it's too hot to go outside and play. I guess we can go out at night.:) This little man could stay out from sun up to sun down. Of course when it's time to come in, it's time for a throw down tantrum. Get ready to see a lot of outside pictures. Hope your weekend is going good!!

First knee booboo

This past weekend, we planted some flowers out back. We actually just planted a few in some pots, to give the backyard some color. The hubby got me a pretty hanging plant for mother's day and we hung that up too. It's yellow petunia's my favorite color. Anyhow, while planting pac-man fell and scratched his knee on the concrete. He cried for a minute and just kept trying to look at it..ha/ha We washed it with the hose and he thought that was so funny:) You can now ask where his booboo is and he will show it off..After a few minutes it was back to playing and eating dirt. He loves that dirt, we have to watch him close with that.

16 months and 1 day

Pac-Man

These days are flying bye, I need them to slow down. Ha, good luck with that. You are so much fun and make us laugh all the time. Constant entertainment to say the least. We love sitting at home with you and watch you explore and use your imagination. It's so fun when we go out as well, you love to people watch. Of course, you love to get into everything, nothing is off limits for you. Well until mom or dad come get you and you get mad!! You are such a blessing and we love you to the moon and back.

What you are up too:
-climb's on everything
-say, light, hot, momma, dada, hi(still not a talker, not worried yet:)
-size 4 diapers
-12-18 month clothes(you are still tall and skinny)
-too many teeth to count(you don't sit still anyway for me to count)
-love to stack things and knock them down
-love phones and hold them to your hear and say "hi"
-bathtime is your fave and cry when we get out
-outside by far is your fave,even over a bath
-you now throw fits(oh how fun)
-you love to chase the dogs all over the place
-can point to your: ears, mouth, tongue(well stick your tongue out when asked) and teeth
-like to brush your teeth
-good eater,altough you will not veggies well(we are trying)

Bed Head

Esty Store

Since Pac-man goes to the nursery at church and will be starting MDO in August, I know we have to label his stuff. I wanted something cute, most labels are just so boring. So of course I headed to ESTY. I found abivens2's shop!! I don't know how to hyperlink, but here is the whole link http://www.etsy.com/shop/abivens2

This labels can last through dishwashers and microwaves. How awesome is that, those other paper labels just get all messed up in the dishwasher. Anyway enough about that, go check her store out. She is great to work with and very timely.

The view from here

The hubby managed to capture one picture while I was out of town. If I do say so myself, it's pretty darn cute. If pac-man is not outside he likes to be at the back door looking out. The blinds have to stay up or he will break them. This picture in his little jersey with his chunky little legs showing, just so cute. Oh, how I missed them while I was gone. Glad to be back even though it's taken me a week to get back in the grove.

More Botanic Gardens Pics

I can't wait to take paxton back to the gardens. It is such a neat place in the spring and summer. Hope everyone stays dry this weekend. We are suppose to be getting tons of rain:(
