Botanic Gardens

The weekend before last we had some pictures taken with a photographer at a local garden. I never had is 1 year old pictures done so these will have to do..ha/ha!! They turned out so good, it will be hard to decide which ones to get. After the pictures we went to a exhibit they have called my big backyard. It has tons of activities for adults and kids to do. There is also areas to relax and enjoy the scenery. We will be going back for sure. He was still young for a lot of the stuff. However, we still got enjoy a few things. My computer is moving slow, so I will post the rest of the pictures tomorrow.

Yummy Pudding

These pictures from last week just crack me up. About every two weeks we give pac-man chocolate pudding. He loves that stuff and goes to town with it. First, he plays with it and draws in it and then it's time to eat it. While in college I learned pudding is a good way to help with fine motor skills. (my degree is in education..he/he) So we are learning and having a great time. Whenever pudding is involved bathtime is not fat behind.

I'm back

I am back from the work trip and so very glad. I have ton's to catch up on. I am worn completely out but never the less glad to be home sweet home. I missed my two boy's tremendously. This week will be catch up with the blog. I have lot's to show you and talk about:) Oh, and I can't wait to show you guys the labels I ordered from a esty store. Love them, they will look so cute on all his stuff. Enjoy a few pictures of pax outside playing.(what he does best)

Paxton's New Ride

For Pac-man's birthday his aunt Jane gave him a tricycle. Not just ant tricycle either it's 3 step one. It can be used now, so that he can be pushed and shaded. Here soon it will convert into a regular "big boy" tricycle. He was to big for step 1 so we stared at step 2. Little man loves, he thinks he is really peddling sometimes and it's so cute. If we would let him he would stay in that all day. It nice when we are walking because it's so much lighter to push. I highly recommend this to anyone with a little one. Thanks aunt Jane, we all love it:)

We had his pictures made at botanic gardens. It was beautiful around there. He did good the first 15 minutes but once he saw the pond and the koi fish it was pretty much over. He literaley tried to jump in the pond, good thing we were quick on our grab. We have to get him in swim classes, he is not afraid of water at all. He will just jump straight in as I saw today. I am eager to see this pictutres. I will post some as soon as they are ready.

2 more days until I leave..I am so sad about this.

Randomness and 15 month check up

I am going to start off with how today went. Today was Paxton's 15 month check-up. Looks like we still have a tall, skinny little boy. He weighed in at 22 pounds and measured at 32 inches. That put him in the 25th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height. The doctor said he was not concerned about his weight since he has always been on the smaller side and has constantly put on weight. Oh, and the best part he got 3 shots. It was horrible, he fell asleep between the doctor leaving and nurse coming in. Needless to say he woke when the shot went in. Poor little pac-man. He has been grumpy all day and running a slight fever.

Tuesday, I go out of town for work. I am very sad about this. This will be the first time I will be away from him this long. Him in one state and me in another,so sad. I know he will be in WONDERFUL hands but I don't want to leave him or the hubby. I will not be back until Sunday, that just seems so long.

The picture below is from Good Friday. I meet 2 of my friends at the outdoor mall we have. It was a fun time. It's funny how much times have changed for the 3 of us. Our times use to be spent going out and on beach trips together. My how things change..he/he

Zoo Fun

On Saturday we went to the zoo with mimi and papa. It was such a beautiful day. We checked out all the animals and pax had a blast. We also had a picnic outside the zoo. We sent under the shade tree and had the past time. Pax got out of his stroller and ran around so he was really excited. After we ate we headed back in the zoo. While in there we ran into our good friends, Travis, Kelly and there little one Marshall. As you can see there picture in the post, trying to get 2 babies to look at the camera, impossible. The animals all seemed to be out and the monkey's were just screaming and swinging. Pax loved watching them. I will post a few mor pics tomorrow. Thanks for a great time at the zoo mimi and papa:)

15 months and 1 day

Paxton,

Boy time is just flying by. We can't grasp just how fast time is going. We sure have enjoyed the past 15 months and look forward to many more memories with you. You are such a mess these days. Here are some things you do:

can show us your mouth and ears
dance when we ask(so cute)
jump(sort of but you sure think you are jumping)
sleep from about 8-6:30 or 7
size 3 diapers(moving to 4's here soon)
12-18 month clothing
love being outside(scream when we bring you in)
say mama, dada, light,hot,ball(sometimes), eat(sometimes)-you are not much of a talker however you speak your own language all the time
love your toys,especially your jump house, books and the toy mailbox
love chasing the dogs
love your bath's and get so excited when you hear the water running

You are such a delight and enjoy you so very much. You are our little piece of heaven and so lucky to be your parents. As always we love you to the moon and back.( I promise to stop doing monthly updates when he is 2..he/he)

B-ball Star in the Making

Well, this is not the order I wanted the pictures but oh well. Let's start with the first picture, this was all my mammaw's grand kids(minus my brother and sister) on Easter Sunday. We missed you Court and Cory. It's hard to get us all together but this is still good to have. The second and third pictures and of pax and daddy playing bball. Pax loves his basketball goal inside. Our friends Kelly, Travis and Marshall gave it to him for Christmas. He is a dunken pro.he/he Joe held pax up to the goal and he knew right what to do. Go pax!!

Easter Sunday

Of all days, I didn't get many pictures of Easter Sunday. I only got one picture in his cute Easter outfit. Better luck next year. We had a wonderful Easter. We went to church and had company join us at church. That was such a treat. Then we ran by granny and grumps. They did Easter with all 3 of us. We could only stay a little while though. Pax got some awesome goodies from granny bunny. Then we went to my uncles and had Easter lunch. It was so good and we were stuffed:) After we ate they did a egg hunt and just enjoyed being outside. Pac-man loved both. We just went to one place on Easter this year and it was so nice and no rushing around. We plan to go to one house every year and just rotate whose we go to. I want pax to be able to enjoy the holidays and not be in the car all day. I hope everyone understands.

Saturday we went to my mom's house and did Easter with that side of the family. She moved it so we could come. We had a yummy meal and did a mini egg hunt with pax. Papa took him to see the cow's. I know pax loved that. Then he spent the rest of the time running around the yard. They have about 2 acres and pax could run the whole time if we would let him. Man, he loves to be outside. I am glad too. Enjoy the pictures below:)

Eggs, Eggs and more Eggs

This weekend was a busy but fun one. Saturday we went to 2 Easter egg hunts. The first one was inside. It came a big storm early, early Saturday morning. I was very glad it was inside. Pax had a blast at his first egg hunt. He did very well. He wouldn't hold the basket but he would bring the eggs straight to the basket. I guess he was to busy to hold the basket..he/he Our second hunt of the day was outside and very muddy. He didn't do as well at that one. He was more interested in going to run around. Imagine that, being outside his is fave. After both hunts we grabbed some lunch and ran a few errands. Lastly we went to my mom and johns and did our Easter. I will write about that tomorrow.

Don't be mad at me in 10 years..he/he

So, the below pictures pax will hate in about 10 years. Last week, the hubby forgot to tell me pax was out of diapers at mammaw's house. So, mammaw had to make do with his blanket and some safety pins. She said it was like a really big cloth diaper..ha/ha!! I got a picture of this on my cell phone while at work and about died laughing. Sorry Pac-man..You look so cute though. I think the shoes really make the outfit complete..Please don't be mad when this picture shows up in your future...
