Daddy's Outfit

About a month ago Pac-man spent the night with his granny and grumps and aunt KK..His granny put him in his daddy's 1 year old birthday outfit. It was in such good condition and looked so cute on him. Here is a picture of him posing in the outfit. Doesn't he look cute:)

Spring Fun

We have been in our new house since September and it's finally time to use the awesome swing set they left us!! Pax has loved it so much thus far. I am so glad they left the set for us and pac-man is at the right age to start using it. As soon as we let him out of our arms he heads straight for the slide. His other favorite outdoor activity is to throw the ball for the dogs or watch us do it so he can chase the dogs. He is so much fun these days!!(not that he wasn't before) I am so glad that spring is here. This weather is the best!!

Best Buddies

First Pump it up Party

This past weekend Pac-man went to his cousin's birthday party at pump it up. He had the best time. I think his daddy had a good time too..ha/ha The boys went down every slide and played in everything they had. It was a fun party for sure. Kyle and keely(the birthday boy and girl) had a blast too. They racked up on some goodies:) I can't wait to take Paxton back. Funny story, they have a inflatable obstacle course at the end is a slide. First go around Joe, let pax go down by himself. His eyes got as big as saucers. Thank goodness it was a soft landing. Pac-man never cried just looked a little scared. I would have been too. Joe said he didn't realize how fast he would fly down the slide..lol!! Needless to say daddy was with him every other slide ride...

Late Birthday Pictures

Last weekend we celebrated 2 birthdays. Unfortunately I only got pictures at one. For one party we went to my mom's to celebrate my great aunt's birthday. We call her Nina. She is a very special person in our lives. Paxton seems to love her just as much as we do:) Happy late birthday again, NINA. I am fortunate to have my great grandmother around and pax even more so with having a great-great grandmother. She just Adore's pax. He will not sit still these days for her to hold him but he gives her "sugar"..He is also lucky in the fact that he has 3 great grandmothers around. Lucky boy!! I have some good pictures come this week.

Yummy Pudding

The other night, we braved the elements and let pax have chocolate pudding. After he got done with his dinner, I put some sugar free J-E-L-LO pudding on his tray. At first he wasn't sure what to think of it. He would stick his finger in it and then look at his finger, like what is this. Before we knew it he was diving in. He loved it and also had fun smearing it all over the tray.ha
I guess this will be his special treat on some nights. I can't handle that every night, way to messy. It was most definitely bathtime after the pudding.

Curious

Pac-man is such a curious little person these days. He inspects everything and tries all kinds of things. It's so funny to watch him with his toys. We never know what he will do with them.For instance the toy he is holding below belongs on his exersaucer. But he loves to try and make it stand up in other toys. It's just amazing to watch him explore and try new things with his toys. That little mind is just a workin...What can I do next and what can I do with this???

Go Tigers!!

Tonight the University of Memphis tigers will be playing St.John's in the first round of the NIT. NIT may not be the NCAA tournament but at least we are still playing. I can't wait to watch the game. So when I try to take pictures these days, pax comes straight up to the camera or he will not look at the camera at all. Forget about getting him to smile in pictures. As soon as I put the camera down smiles come out. Go figure. Hopefully I will get some good pictures sooner or later. I am hoping by Easter he will be ready to take some good pictures. However I love this picture his eyes show up so good. Those blue eyes and long eyelashes are going to break some hearths one day.

We Love the Fridge DJ

Pac-man is in love with the fridge DJ. He loves that he can see his reflection and his little fridge DJ. This was a birthday gift from his Nana Peggy. The fridge Dj helps keep him busy while I cook. Plus he just really likes the music. It's funnt to see him at the fridge just hanging out. I am in search of more kid friendly magnets. Do you guys have any suggestions??

Our Fur Babies

I always write about Pax, so I decided to write about our fur babies. They are loved so very much and are a big part of our family. They got so much attention before Paxton was born, when he came home they were not to sure. We still give them attention but I am sure not as much as they would like. Now they love Pac-man and follow him all over the place. That could be that he feeds them his snack and dinner..Just saying!! Just this week he started throwing food off the highchair to give the dogs and then bust out laughing. Oh well!! None the less, we love our fur babies to death..I think pax does too:)

14 months and day

Happy 14 months pac-man!! I can't believe it is time to write this. You are no longer looking like my baby but rather a big boy. Times are changing so fast with you, I can barely keep up. You learn new things daily and love to explore. As always you are our little piece of heaven and love you to the moon and back:)

Swing, Swing

While the weather was nice we enjoyed the swings. Pac-man loves his swing. I am so glad when we bought this house they left the swing set. We moved in to late last year to truly enjoy it. We will be getting our use out of it this year. He has been making this new "surprise" type of expression. When he is excited he makes or just random times during the day. While he was swinging he did his "surprise" face often. The best picture of this face is the last one. It will surely make you smile:) It is on rare occasion I actually get a picture of him smiling.

Lovely Weekend

This weened we had some very nice weather. Highs were in the 60's and sunny. It was awesome. My dad, brother and sister came and stayed with us this weekend. We cooked out, enjoyed the weather and just had fun. Pax really enjoys being around his aunt and uncle. Courtney and I took pax on a little walk around the neighborhood and to the little pond in the neighborhood. The ducks walked right up to us, I guess they are used to being feed. Sorry to disappoint but we had nothing for them. Pac-man got a kick out of them, when the white one walked up to us he cracked up laughing. It was pretty cute. I am loving this weather and can't wait for spring.

He is a Wheel Watcher

Most nights we watch the news while we eat or hanging out in the playroom. Well right after the news, wheel of fortune comes one. I am not a wheel watcher but lately we have been watching it. Our little pac-man has taken a interest in the show. Every time he hears the wheel spins he stops dead in his tracks. It's pretty fun if I do say so myself. His highchair does not face the tv but let me just say, he will break his neck trying to catch a glimpse of the wheel. Maybe he will be a good speller..ha/ha I am the worst speller and go figure my degree is in education.

A new way to play

So, Pax has not played in his exersaucer for awhile. We lowered it and use it as a blocker these day's. We put it in a spot to keep him from getting to the desk in our playroom. The other day he figured out he could just sit in it and play with all the toys. He was having a big time in that thing. He would get so mad at times because he couldn't spin around to get to the other toys. He got it all figured out on his own. Who knew the exersaucer could be used in more ways than one.
