Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we headed to Mississippi to see family. It was a rainy nasty day outside. However the day with family was a very good time. Pac-man got a lot of gifts. Joe and I ate too much food. After we left there we headed to the Christmas Eve service at church. Paxton did so good through the whole thing. I was very shocked:) Then we headed home and put him to bed and got ready for Christmas day. I will post those pictures tomorrow..

A early Christmas with baby Marshall

Our friends Kelly and Travis came over last Friday night with there little man Marshall. We hung out and ate and just had a good time. We did a gift exchange for the boys and Paxton loved unwrapping his gift. They gave him a little basketball goal and he is really enjoying it. He is learning how to put the ball in the basket already:) Way to go Pac-man. There little boy Marshall is such a cutie. I know the boys will be good friends one day. He just loved Marshall, he kept grabbing at his face. I guess he just didn't know what to think of him.

Everything went Good

Everything turned out good from the surgery. Man was it a hard day. Joe and I both cried like babies when we had to give him to the nurse. We all made it though and so thankful it is over. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts. I know that helped a lot. Little pac-man was running a fever last night and some today but they said just give him Tylenol and see hoe he does tomorrow. So I hope he is not coming down with something on top of being sore.

It was hard seeing him after the surgery. They gave him morphine and his little eyes were rolling and it scared the crap out of me. The nurse reassured me it was ok and we continued to love on him:)

Again thanks for all the prayers and keep them coming over the next week..
Before Surgery!! Look how tiny that gown is

Fake Snow

While at bass pro we let pax down to explore the trees. Some fake snow got on his hands and he was not to sure about it. He was so funny, he just kept looking at his hands like"please get this off, NOW"..Pac-man just starred at it but once we wiped it off he was like ok, I can move now. He is taking steps just about everyday but no more than 3 at a time. It's so funny to see him try..He wants to do it so bad.

Where is Paxton?

We went to Bass Pro the other night and had a nice little outing. I was checking out and my mom, said you have to come see what your step dad did..So I walked over and this is what I found. Paxton's papa put him in a boat filled with socks. Pac-man loved it too. People were walking by and just laughing. It was a cute little moment.

11 Months Old

Happy 11 months old Pac-Man!! I can't even grasp the fact that you are almost 1 years old. You are starting to come into your own personality and I love it. I will admit that you do have a little temper as well. There is so much that you have started doing in the past month. Let's see you now stand alone all the time, you can walk along everything and have even take some steps all by yourself. We get so excited when you do this and you just look at us like, What are you guys doing?? Little man you now have 7 teeth with the 8th on it's way. And let me just tell you everything goes in your mouth. Right now you love my phone and the remote and when we take those away you let that temper show:) You still like to be snuggled at night and I hope you continue that, I can't get enough of it. It's so cute to hear you talk, I only wish I knew what you were really saying.

Paxton you are the light of our universe!! You teach your dad and I something new all the time. We never knew you could love so deep. We can't wait until you turn and watch you grow into a little boy. Just remember you will always be my snugly little pac-man.
We love you so much!!!

After Bath Fun

I snapped a cute picture of Joe and pac-man the other night. He loves his baths and playtime while getting ready. His daddy always gets him dressed after bath time, that is there special time. It melts my heart to hear them in there playing and laughing:) Joe has been doing this since his first bath. I always get the bottle and oatmeal ready and the bottles for the next day. I love these 2 with all my heart

verdict is in-SURGERY

Yesterday we took Pac-man to a specialist and well he has to have out-patient surgery on the 15th. When he got circumcised it was done wrong, way wrong. I hate that he is having to endure more pain for someone not doing there job right. It makes me sick even to think about it. I am glad he is getting it done now before he can really remember the pain, etc. The specialist said he does so many of these a year and it's better to do it before he starts potty training..Since he is almost 1, we knew it was time to take him to a specialist and I was not looking forward to hearing he will have to have surgery. The older he gets the more he remembers, babies bounce back so much more quickly. PLEASE start saying prayers for him, the doctors and us. It is out patient but just the thought of our little man being put to sleep makes me want to cry. We were told it will take 2-3 weeks to heal. I really hope he is feeling better by Christmas, especially since this is his first one.
