Daddy and Pax

Last weekend the weather was pretty nice. We took Pac-man outside for a little while to get some fresh air. He just loves playing outside. We can't wait for the weather to warm up for good around here. I love this picture of Pax, he has his pouty lip sticking out. I guess he was not in the mood for pictures. I took him away from his play time. Joe was not to happy either because the sun was in his eyes. Sorry guys, had to get a picture while i could..ha/ha

What makes you happy??

Now I must tell you 7 things that make me smile and pass it along to 5 more people.

1). The hubby...He can make me smile like no one else. We have our bad times don't get me wrong but the smiles out weigh all the bad. It seems he always knows what to say and do. Thanks GOD for giving me an amazing hubby, friend and dad to our little one..

2) Pac-man..Just looking at him puts a smile on my face..I just love him to pieces. His smile is contagious and brightens any day..

3). Family and Friends...Where would we be without them?? They are a special bunch of people. They make our life so much more enjoyable:)

4). Blogs- I love to read blogs. Most of the one's I read bring a smile to my face or have me busting out laughing out loud!!

5). Summer- Man, how the warm sun and summer period brings a smile to my face. I love everything about summer. Come on SUMMER!!

6). Date Night- These nights are so special and fun. Sometimes we don't even do anything but hang out with each other. I have learned hoe important it is to have time for just us. It keeps our marriage strong. Having a baby can effect your marriage in so many ways but we learned the tough way to put the marriage 1st. So these date nights are pure joy!!

7) Good smelling house- Nothing is better than walking into a house that smells so good..I love candles and anything that makes my home smell awesome..

Fun Color's for the Bath

For Valentines day, we gave Paxton colored bath tablets. They make bath time a lot more fun:) So far we have tried out all the colors, except for yellow. I am not sure I want him taking a bath in yellow water, you know what I mean? We mix the yellow tablet with another color..ha/ha Bath's are his favorite and this colored water makes it even better. I am sure he will love picking out the color himself when he is a little older. (sorry the picture is grainy, my camera doesn't do the best job)

A tad late

I know this is a little late. Here are a few pictures of pax opening his Valentine present. He got some goodies from his grandparents and us of course:) My little love bug!!! We love you to the moon and back:)

Pax and his friend

Last Saturday, pax had a play date with cutie pie Abby. She was so cute and sweet. However, pac-man wanted no part in it. Abby was trying so hard to play with him and he just wanted to do his own thing. He did let Abby feed him, how funny his that. He wouldn't let her touch him all day but he would let her feed him. Go figure!! I sure hope he does better around little ones, he will be starting mother's day out in August. He will just be going 2 days a week.
My mom and step dad had him last Saturday night. They took him to play with Brentley and from what I hear he did play with her for a little while. Who knows why he won't play with other kids?? He does go to the nursery on Sunday. I just fear he will not be nice to his friends and/or not play well with them. We have a ways to go, so no worries..Just wish us some luck..ha/ha

Fun Dinner

The other night Paxton tried some beef -a -roni stuff. He loved it and had fun playing in it as well. I feel like he eats the same things day in and day out. I am trying to find new things but I just don't know what to get. If any of you have suggestions, I would love to hear them!!!
Any time he eats this stuff it will most defiantly be bath night. He could go for a bath any time during the day. That is one thing he truly loves. He could stay in there all day if we would let him.

Happy Love Day

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!! I love my boys and so blessed to have them. They made my day a very good one. Also thanks to our family and friends who shared so much extra love today.

This was Pac-Man a year ago on his first Valentine's day. What a difference a year makes:)

13Months and few days

Paxton,

You have changed so much over the last month. I say this all the time but where is the time going?? I was thinking back to this time last year and you were still so tiny and just slept and ate all the time. Here we are a year later and you never stop. What a joy you have been to us and continue to be. Pac-man you are constant entertainment and there is never a dull moment with you around. We enjoy watching you grow and discover new things. I know your mind is churning all the time and I LOVE it..Our little piece of heaven you are and we couldn't thank GOD enough for you. As I always say, I love you to the moon and back.

Things you do these days:
-say ot(for hot), ight(for light), mama and dada-you talk in your own language all the time(it's so cute)
-wave bye-bye
-point to your mouth when we ask where it is
-hold your arms up, when we say arms up
-clap and it's so funny when you hear clapping on TV you start immediately
-love peek a boo and patty cake
-you are such a good eater-some of your faves: grapes, chicken, turkey, mashed potatoes,applesauce, Gerber snacks
-take only sippy cups(we said bye to the before bed bottle on your 13month bday)
-love to have books read to you
-play well with your toys and love to roll around in your bouncy tent
-walk all over the place
-you have 8 teeth and working on the 9th(we brush teeth every night)
-there is plenty more that you do but these are the highlights

Snow Part II

Snow part I-Surprise

Today we woke up to a very unexpected snow. It has been so much fun playing in it. Joe and I love snow and I think Pac-man does too. He acted like he had done this 1000 times. Happy Snow to all you guys!!! I will post more snow pics tomorrow. We got some good black and white pics. Black and white pics look so pretty in the snow. The last picture on this post is black and white and I just love it..

First haircut or should I say trim

A couple of weeks ago my bff came over to the house and did my hair. While she was here, we had her trim Pac-mans hair. It was starting to curl around his ear. He wouldn't sit still in our lap's so Candy said she could do it just fine in the tub. Since he loves bath time it worked fine for us. He did very good for her. I guess he had toys to keep him occupied and he was in the water that he loves so much. Speaking of H2O , I can't wait for summer so we can take him swimming. I think he will love it!!!

What are you doing in the washing machine??

While I was putting clothes on the couch to fold, daddy was busy doing something else. I walked back in the laundry room and little pac-man was hanging out in the washer. Silly daddy!!! Paxton loved it and thought it was so funny. Of course I had to snap a picture real quick..Surprise, Surprise he has his tongue out. Will he ever leave it in his mouth??

Hey, more food??

When Paxton eats we always put the bibs with the pockets on the front. The other day he finally discovered the pocket. While I was cleaning the tray off, I looked over and he was eating the food from the pocket. This has turned into a nightly tradition. I wash the tray and he eats the leftovers. HA/HA!! Pac-man can throw some food back. He loves to eat and I think he would eat all day if we would let him. You could never tell he eats a lot, he is so tall and skinny.

I see more food mom, I am not done yet!!

More Ice Pic

Our little lily hates snow and ice. She can tolerate the rain but doesn't care for it. Thank goodness when it iced, the area under the gutters was clear. That was the only spot she would go. No further than the little strip along the house.
