Family
I have been thinking a lot about our family lately. Not just our family of 3 but all of our family. I am amazed at all the family we have and how blessed we are. I have a great grandmother "baba" that is still alive and she is the heart of our family. Some of my fondest memories are with her. She is such a amazing women. My mom has also taken so much from baba. Some of the stuff she does and cooks is just like baba. My mom has taught me a lot about how to be a mom. I had a great example so there wasn't too much she had to show me..LOL! I just hope I can pass on such family tradition and dedication that I have seen my mom and great grandmother do. I was lucky to have all my grandmothers as well. All the memories with all of them is just so precious. I can't wait to see the memories Pax will make with his grandparents one day. I hope he gets to experience that wonderful grandparent relationship..Pax is so lucky that he has such wonderful grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Family is just so important and I thankful for them all.

Stairs
I know this picture is blurry, sorry. I had to write about how much our little boy loves stairs. He wants to walk up them 100 times a day. No more crawling up or down the stairs. Now days he has to hold your hand and the wall and walk up the stair like a big boy. How do they just grow so fast? There little minds are like sponges and just take it all in..We love you sweet boy

MDO=Happy Boy
Our big boy made it through his first day. This morning a few tears were shed but not for long. We watched for a minute through the class and he was playing away. His teachers said he played well and ate all his lunch. What, I can't believe it? She even said we need to send more because he still seemed hungry. That is awesome, he rarely cleans his whole plate for us. He took a 1 hour nap on the little mat. GO PAC-MAN!! Of course, she said his favorite thing was playing outside. I would have never ever guessed that. His little friend Marshall is in his class and he had a great too. We tried to get a picture of them together and that didn't work at all!!!
All in all he had a wonderful day. I am so relived everything worked out. Needless to say I was nervous at work all day. The part about his lunch and nap is what was making me nervous. I will breather a lot easier when he goes back.

Tomorrow
Tomorrow this big boy has his first day of MDO. I am so excited for him. Today, we met his teachers and they seem great. I have to admit I am nervous. I am most nervous about lunch and nap time. Just one of those mommy things, I guess. So think of us tomorrow and say a little pray for us all! I know he will probably shed a few tears but it will be OK. It looks like they will have so much fun stuff for them to do and I know he will learn some stuff too. They have outside time, which I know he will love. I do feel sorry for them when they come in, we all know a fit will be thrown. What can I say this boy loves outside. I just can't believe he is about to start this new adventure:)
I can't imagine what I will be like when he start kindergarten.

Fun in The Backyard
Last weekend when we celebrated the hubby's birthday the kids enjoyed our little pool. It sure kept them all entertained the whole time. They could have stayed out there all day. Pax wasn't too sure of everyone in his pool. So, the sprinkler was brought out for him and Aiden. Those two loved that so it was win, win for all. This little $80 pool has brought so much fun to us this summer. We have all enjoyed it. It's big enough to lounge in for us and small enough for pax to walk around in. Plus a lot cheaper chemical wise, so yay for the pool..For now this pool wins maybe one day a in ground pool will..
Happy Monday

Joe's Birthday Celebration
Last Sunday we had some family and friends over to celebrate Joe's birthday. We had pizza, salad and few other snacks. The kids got in our little pool and had a great time despite the 110 heat index. Oh, to be a kid again. Pax wasn't sure about all the kids in the pool so he preferred the sprinkler. We all talked and the birthday "man" enjoyed cake and some presents. It was a good time had by all. I was exhausted by the time everyone left. Putting on get togethers is hard work..lol
