Valentine's Day

Another Valentine's Day has come and gone.  This year was low key and I loved it that way.  I came home from work to dinner cooked, flowers on the table, yummy cupcakes from Gigi's(local bakery), wine and art work from p.  What could be better???  I was very delighted with my night. I should have taken a picture of the cupcakes but they didn't last long.lol We had agreed not to get each other anything but the hubby decided to surprise me.  Which I just loved!!!  I felt bad I only had him a card but he was happy with that, good thing right..lol:)  Sure is funny how Valentines have changed over the year's but there is not place I would rather be than with my boys and fur babies.
Hope everyone had a great Valentines Day

Camera Fun

The other night we were playing around with the camera.  I love black and white pictures.  P is not the biggest fan of pictures but he went along with it the other night.  I really hope I can get good at taking pictures one day.  P kept saying take one more mommy.  His favorite thing to do about the camera is looking at the picture after wards.  Below are a few of our shots.
There really hasn't been much going on so I don't have much to post about!!

Play Dough FUN

For Christmas P got a play dough set.  He loves that stuff.  It's a good activity to calm him down or use when he is bored.  It doesn't get played with daily so it keeps his attention a longer than his other toy's.  They have come a long way with the tool's that come with the play dough. Back in my day we just cookie cutters, these day's you get scissors and stamps and all kind of stuff.
I have been slacking on picture taking but am getting back in the groove.

 So much fun!!!

Pax Turn's 3

On the 9th of January our little man turned 3. Where oh where has the time gone.  I just can't grasp that my little baby is 3. It seems like we were just bringing him home from the hospital.  Our little 3 year old had his party at a place called Pump it Up. It was so much and so easy.  We just showed up with cupcakes, snacks and goody bags and they took care of the rest.  Awesome, in my book!!  All in all I think all the kiddo's had a great time and the adults, I know my our little man did.  So many of our family members came, pax is a loved guy!!
Pax,
You are our little piece of heaven.  Our life has changed drastically in the past 3 years and I love it.  I can't imagine our life without you.  You are on the go constantly.  As a matter of fact, I have a hard time keeping up!! Talking is something you do all the time.  You are very easy to understand.  Colors, shapes and numbers you have down to a T.  You are still going to school 2 days a week and you just adore Miss. Jenny:)  Mam maw still keeps up and you still light up when you see her.  The 2 of you are best little friends.  Pax, this list could go on and on.  Just always know we love you to the moon and back and you will always be our baby!!

Last Christmas Post

Man oh man, it's hard to find time to blog. I am trying hard to keep up. I really think Pax will love having this to look back on one day. We have a ton of Christmas pictures but I can't keep posting on Christmas.  I can't wait to do p's birthday post.  Back to Christmas!!  Christmas day was a whirlwind and to be honest it was just way to much.  By the end of the day P was worn out and cranky as can be.  Although he had fun unwrapping presents and seeing everyone. He got so much stuff.. At one point he just wanted to unwrap and could have cared less about the present. Last year he loves boxes, this year paper maybe next year he will be into all the presents..lol!!  So thankful for our loving families though, they truly make Christmas special.
Oh, Christmas eve service pax sat in the service and loved it!!  I was so nervous but he made it and it was a wonderful time for our little family of 3.

Still on Christmas

This year was so fun with Pax.  He is at the age where he is all about the magic of Christmas, learning about baby Jesus and just having fun.  I can't stress enough how magical it was this year.  Having a child really let's you relive your childhood with Santa and all his glory.  The best part was seeing pax light up when we talked about baby Jesus and his birthday.  He loved seeing all the manager's with baby Jesus in them.
Santa was definitely good to pax this year..lol

Cookies for Santa

I am super behind on our Christmas post.  I am about to be really behind since P turns 3 this weekend, man where did the time go.  Ok, back to Christmas.  This year was crazy busy and I was not a fan. We survived and had fun so that's all that matter's.  P loved everything about Christmas but was extremely exhausted by Christmas night.  Christmas Eve after church we headed home and made cookies for Santa.  P loved it and just had the best time.  While the cookies were baking P and daddy went sprinkled reindeer food on the lawn, how fun??  Once the cookies were done we of course decorated our little heart's out.  I forgot to take pictures of the cookie's and Santa's plate.Trust me they were adorable and Santa loved them:)
