Day 1-Vacay just the 2 of US

The hubby and I had a trip just the two of us for our anniversary. We missed p like crazy but we truly had a blast. We left on a Tuesday night and stayed in Biloxi,MS. We stayed at the nicest hotel/casino. We weren't there long. Well long enough to lose some money.lol We woke up Wednesday and finished our drive to Gulf Shores. Once there we picked up our groceries for the stay. After that we headed to the condo got checked in and walked around to check out the surroundings. It was so nice. By this time it was time to go eat. We found this place called Wolf Bay Lodge right on the water. It was awesome!! We watched several boats come in and enjoyed a nice breeze. The best part we had a awesome dinner that we truly enjoyed.

Let's Bowl Baby

We were going through some stuff and came upon this bowling set. P had gotten it for his birthday but was still a little young for it. We got that bad boy out and put it to use. Honestly I forgot all about the bowling set. P loved it!! It was a nice little surprise. It keep him busy for a good while. He has had the best time with it. The hubby wants to take him bowling for real with the bumpers but I think he is still to young. We shall see though. For now bowling in the living room works just fine. Of course he is too cool with the shades.

Last Zoo Pictures

These are the last of the zoo pictures. I saved the best for last. P loved playing in the water, I mean LOVED!! There was a big temper tantrum thrown when it was time to get out. He cried all the way to car and then some. P thought his little world was over.lol At least the time in the water was blast. Him and daddy stayed in there about 30 minutes. Oh good times at the zoo.

We love it what can I say:) We might as well take advantage of free memberships too. I loved the members night, can't wait for another one.

Zoo Fun Once Again

Before the hubby and I went on our getaway we went to the member night at the zoo. It was so much fun but man it was super HOT!!! Pax loved the animals and especially the water fountains. We should have just stayed at the water fountains all night. Mimi and Papa went with us and we all really enjoyed the night. It's really neat being at the zoo at night. The animals seemed to be more active,so that was cool to see.

This post is random. Not a lot going on. The hubby and I leave for the beach today. I can't wait although I feel a little guilty. We are not taking P, this is a anniversary gift to ourselves. We need to get away just the 2 of us. We don't focus on our self and marriage enough. We are working on it though. Don't feel bad for P though. He will be staying with both set's of grandparent's, he will be getting plenty of attention. I am sure we will come back to a spoiled little boy..lol
We are taking him to Disney in September so he still get a trip:)

These Two

These two makes my heart want to explode. I love watching them together. They are also a great source of entertainment. They are 2 peas in a pod. I am so glad that the hubby gets to be at home with p during the day. They have a really special bond. J is a great hands on dad and has taught p so much. Love these 2..
